Garden Bed Design, Installation & Makeovers

Garden Bed Design, Construction, and Renovations

At Greenleaf Landscaping & Construction, we specialize in creating vibrant, well-structured garden beds that add lasting beauty and curb appeal to your property. Whether you’re starting fresh or breathing new life into an existing space, our team brings expertise in both native and non-native plantings, tailored to thrive in Washington’s climate and soil conditions.

From installing colorful seasonal flower beds to designing perennial planting schemes for year-round interest, we transform front yard beds, side yard borders, and backyard gardens into eye-catching features. We also refresh and clean up existing beds—removing dead or overgrown plants, pruning shrubs, re-edging, and finishing with a new layer of mulch to define and protect your landscape.

Whether you’re looking for a low-maintenance design, bold seasonal color, or a pollinator-friendly planting plan, Greenleaf Landscaping & Construction delivers garden bed installations with creativity, precision, and lasting impact.

Our Garden Bed Installation Process

At Greenleaf Landscaping & Construction, we build and restore garden beds that instantly improve curb appeal and bring structure, color, and function to your landscape. Whether you need a fresh start or a full makeover, we follow a simple, proven process:

    1. On-Site Consultation
We visit your property, measure the space, and discuss your goals. This helps us estimate materials like soil, mulch, and plants.
    2. Plant & Material Selection
We recommend low-maintenance, zone-appropriate plants and finishes like mulch, stone, or river rock—sourced locally and chosen to thrive in the Shoreline climate.
    3. Bed Prep & Cleanup
We remove weeds, brush, and overgrowth, then re-edge the beds for clean separation from your lawn or hardscaping.
    4. Planting & Layout
Plants are spaced and arranged for both visual balance and long-term growth—so your beds look good now and mature beautifully.
    5. Finishing Touches
We add mulch or decorative stone to complete the look and reduce maintenance.

Garden Bed Design & Installation Pricing

Our garden bed design and installation services are truly next level.  If you want a beautiful landscape it's going to take careful thought, creativity, and planning.

Typical Garden Bed Makeovers

$2,500 - $6,500

This is an average price range for the projects you see above.  This would include bed clean-up, re-establishing bed edging, new bed plant layout and design, selection of new plantings, topped with mulch, decorative stone, or river rock, all labor, and site cleanup would also be included.

These prices are only ball park figures to give you a rough idea as to what you should expect for the cost of a high-end, professionally designed garden bed.  Your particular garden bed project may vary depending on the site, the specific materials chosen, the specific plantings chosen and their size, and the overall scope of work.
